VIns collection- Raptors and Birds
This collection was created in collaboration with The Vermont Institution of Natural Science’s Raptor Center. V.I.N.S. is an organization which rehabilitates birds of prey which have been injured due to human activity/ the modern world. A percentage of proceeds from the collection helps fund raptor rehabilitation projects.*
Raptors and birds of prey captivate us with their majestic presence and keen senses, which far surpass our own. Ancient Myth and lore has always associated such birds with the higher reolms of perception, the afterworld and truth. birds of prey additionally hold a sacred significance in Native American Cultures; harbingers of magic, omens, seers of the unknown, indicators of opportunity and higher perspectives are just some of the messages that birds of prey can bring. This collection is meant to reinforce our relationship to these birds in all such ways.
These powerful pieces are made directly from talons, feet and skulls of birds of prey and raptors, The resulting jewelry resonates with an intense presence You will feel, which hints at the mystical spirit of each bird,
